The complex is within walking distance of Margates CBD, with its restaurants, shops, cafes and clubs. The main beach has an African market. Whale Rock Complex is a secure, well maintained complex which boasts a sparkling swimming pool, communal braai facilities and direct access onto the promenade.

Whale Rock 6 is a luxury apartment that ticks all the boxes for a wonderful beach family holiday. This apartment consists of three bedrooms and two bathrooms and has air-con. The kitchen and living area is open plan leading out onto a spacious balcony with a side view of the ocean. From the balcony you will be able to enjoy the wonderful sound of the ocean and when ready light up the gas barbecue and enjoy a great time with your family and friends.

The kitchen is well equipped for self catering with a washing machine as well as a tumble dryer. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and also opens up onto the balcony. The en-suite bathroom is open plan with a sunken bath which is an awesome place to relax and unwind. Second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third has two single beds. Second bathroom has a shower as well as bath.

The weather on the South Coast is superb, even in winter. The sea temperature, which is influenced by the warm Mozambique current, seldom drops below 19 degrees. Nearby Shelly Beach has two shopping centres, many restaurants as well as movies. Shelly Beach also offers deep-sea fishing trips, dolphin and whale watching trips, scuba diving and also shark diving.

Day trips are the order of the day with the Wild Coast Sun, Oribi Gorge, with it hair-raisng swinging bridge within easy traveling distance. The crocodile farm and the renowned San Lameer Golf course is also an easy trip away and the Mac Banana filled pancakes are to die for!
