Peacehaven is a charming, comfortable three-bedroom beach holiday house in Shelly Beach on the South Coast that is suitable for self-catering accommodation. Great holiday destination that offers the perfect holiday escape. Enjoy the privacy of your own swimming pool which is set in a lovely large garden where there is a slight view of the ocean. Expect a peaceful retreat surrounded by natural beauty and a relaxing vibe. There is easy access to this very popular beach. This property features an alarm as well as beams for your safety.
Shelly Beach is a small seaside town that is very popular for scuba diving, shark cage diving, deep-sea fishing, and ski boat fun rides, and dolphin and whale watching trips. Shelly Beach has a long white beach on one side and a rocky beach on the other side. The rocky beach with numerous rock pools is great for walking as well as pottering around with kids. The ski boat club is within walking distance.
This three bedroom home comfortably sleeps six guests. There is an open-plan lounge/dining room/kitchen opening up onto a covered veranda where there is a built-in braai. A well-equipped kitchen suitable for self-catering which also has a washing machine.
The main bedroom has a king-size bed (ceiling fan) and an en-suite bathroom that has a shower. Both the second and third bedrooms have two single beds (ceiling fan). The second bathroom has a bath with an attached shower.
There is an open view decoder, however guests are welcome to bring along their own DSTV Decoder to connect to DSTV. No smoking is permitted in the house. The owners do allow for pets although smaller dogs may get through the fencing. There is a double garage and ample of parking space.
Oribi Gorge, which is less than 50km away, has the longest zip line in Africa as well as hiking and mountain biking trails and white water rafting. The South Coast has nine 18 hole golf courses as well as seven blue flag beaches. The Wild Coast Sun is also less than 50km away. Furthermore, the South Coast enjoys a warm subtropical climate due to the influence of the warm Mozambique current that flows south along the coast. The temperatures are generally quite warm and even the winters are mild. Sea temperatures seldom drop below 19 degrees C even in mid-winter which is perfect for swimming in the sea.
