La Corsica 17 - Uvongo - Sleeps 6 Guests

La Corsica 17 is in a Moroccan-styled duplex complex suitable for self-catering holiday accommodation in Uvongo on the South Coast KZN. Uvongo is a lovely little resort village on the Hibiscus Coast. It is probably most famous for its picturesque waterfall that plunges into a lovely little lagoon. Uvongo beach has lifeguards as well as shark nets. It is an excellent swimming and surfing beach. Paddle boats and also canoes are for hire on the lagoon. Uvongo beach also has a freshwater kiddies pool and tidal pool nearby.

Other attractions include numerous rock pools that stretch from Uvongo beach to Lucien beach and the fishing pier on the edge of the beach. Lillie Crona Avenue is a 2.5 km stretch of road along the rocks between these two beaches which is abuzz with walkers, joggers, and cyclists every morning and evening. The weather on the South Coast is superb, even in winter. The sea temperature, which is influenced by the warm Mozambique current, seldom drops below 19 degrees.

The South Coast boasts nine 18 hole golf courses as well as seven blue flag beaches. The area offers scuba diving and deep-sea fishing as well as mountain biking trails, Oribi Gorge, a zip line, white water rafting, and a casino at the Wild Coast Sun. La Corsica complex boasts a sparkling pool, lovely well-maintained garden, braai facilities as well as under-covering parking. There are wonderful sea views as well as direct beach access.

La Corsica 17 in Uvongo is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom, first-floor duplex that sleeps 6. Upstairs is the main bedroom which has a queen size bed (ceiling fan).  Both the second and third bedroom have two single beds (ceiling fan). One bathroom has a bath and the other has a shower. Downstairs is the living area which is open plan and leads onto a balcony that overlooks the Indian Ocean. Well-equipped kitchen for self-catering.

There is a flat screen TV in the lounge in the lounge with an open plan decoder. Guests are welcome to bring their own DSTV Decoder to connect to DSTV.  Please remember to your own towels. No smoking is allowed in the unit.
