Indigo Bay 33, a four-bedroom self-catering holiday apartment, home from home with exquisite sea-views, nestling on the iconic South Coast of KwaZulu Natal. Indigo Bay 33 is on the fifth floor, with a lift in the complex. The complex boasts a sparkling swimming pool with a communal braai area. Easy access onto the lovely long beach. Truly a perfect getaway for the discerning holidaymaker.
The living area including the kitchen, dining area as well as lounge with air-con opens up onto a balcony where there are breathtaking sea-views. Well-equipped kitchen for self-catering with a dishwasher. Stairs are leading up onto a large private area on the roof, from here 180-degree sea-views are overlooking the Indian Ocean. (The jacuzzi is not OPERATIONAL). Great space for relaxing while enjoying the beautiful views. There is also a built-in braai. Often dolphins frolicking in the waves are sighted as well as whales when in season.
The main bedroom has a queen-size bed as well as an air-con, also opening up onto the balcony. The en-suite bathroom has a corner bath as well as a shower. The second bedroom has a double bed (ceiling fan). Both the third and the fourth bedrooms both have two single beds as well as ceiling fans. The second bathroom also has a bath as well as a shower.
Manaba Beach is the seaside village on the Hibiscus Coast that overlaps Uvongo and Margate. It is a lovely beach for swimming, surfing, body boarding or simply building sandcastles, sunbathing and there are lifeguards as well as shark nets. A short walk down the beach will bring you to the Margate main beach. Margate is a very popular resort town that has been a major drawcard to the South Coast for many decades. It boasts great beaches, an Olympic-size swimming pool, and also an African craft market. The vendors will love to show you their range of carvings, curios, and other interesting items.
Within 50km are Oribi Gorge which offers the longest zip-line in Africa, mountain biking, hiking, white water rafting, and a nature reserve. Furthermore, the Wild Sun Casino is also less than 50km away. Shelly Beach has movies, two shopping malls, deep-sea fishing, dolphin/ whale watching as well as diving at Protea Banks.
