Uvongo beach has lifeguards as well as shark nets which makes it an excellent swimming and surfing beach.
The South Coast has nine 18 hole golf courses as well as seven blue flag beaches. Nearby Shelly Beach offers scuba diving, dolphin and whale watching trips, fun boat trips, and also deep-sea fishing. Oribi Gorge offers mountain biking trails as well as the longest zip line in Africa. Furthermore, the weather on the South Coast is superb, even in winter. The sea temperature, which is influenced by the warm Mozambique current, seldom drops below 19 degrees. View our Things To Do page for a list of activities for your whole family to do on holiday.
