Whale Rock 3

Whale Rock 3 is a three bedroom self catering holiday apartment in Margate on the South Coast. Margate is a very popular resort town that has been a major drawcard for many decades, Margate is also know for its wonderful beaches and is a vibrant, colourful town. The complex is within walking distance of Margates CBD, with its restaurants, shops, cafes and clubs. The main beach has an African market. Furthermore the vendors will love to show you their range of carvings, curios and other interesting items.

Whale Rock Complex is a secure, well maintained complex which boasts a sparkling swimming pool, communal braai facilities and direct access onto the promenade.

Whale Rock 3 is on the ground floor. This apartment consists of three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen and living area is open plan leading out onto a spacious balcony with a side view of the ocean. There is a gas braai on the balcony.

The kitchen is well equipped for self catering. The main bedroom  has a queen size bed and also opens up onto the balcony. The ensuite bathroom is open plan with a bath. Second and third bedrooms both have two single beds. Second bathroom has a shower as well as bath.

The weather on the South Coast is superb, even in winter. The sea temperature, which is influenced by the warm Mozambique current, seldom drops below 19 degrees. Nearby Shelly Beach has two shopping centres, many restaurants as well as movies. Shelly Beach also offers deep-sea fishing trips, dolphin and whale watching trips, scuba diving and also shark diving.

Day trips are the order of the day with the Wild Coast Sun, Oribi Gorge, with it hair-raisng swinging bridge within easy traveling distance. The crocodile farm and the renowned San Lameer Golf course is also an easy trip away and the Mac Banana filled pancakes are to die for! There is an open view decoder, however guests are welcome to bring along their own DSTV decoders to connect to DSTV. No smoking allowed in the apartment.
